NS Allowance Back-Pay: Call 1800 3676767 to Check Officially

  Hi, i am currently doing my RT at Maju Camp. Currently Phase 1.
  
  My first lesson was on 02 October 2010 and today had my second RT lesson.
  
  I checked Nsmen portal but there is no record of me attending RT even thou so far i have attended 2 RT lesson.
  
  In addition, there is no mention of any RT allowance at all. Last year when i take my RT, there will be a SMS coming in after every RT lesson stating that RT allowance of around SGD9.00+ has been credited into my bank account. But this year, no news at all.
  
  I check Nsmen portal under Nsmen payment matters, also no mention of any RT allowance being credited.
  
  I called Mindef @1800 3676767 and was told it take up to 10 working days for any updates to be done which include crediting of RT allowance as well as updating of RT attendance in Nsmen Portal.
  
  Can anyone clarify?

  As you yourself have said, you have already checked with the NS hotline, and you have already been told that these updates can take a long time.

  Yes, they take a damn long time, unlike for my in camp training, they turn out to be super fast and efficient.

  I am asking here because in the past back in 2009 when i do my RT at Bedok camp, the updating of RT attendance and crediting of RT allowance were almost instant after every RT lesson. So i am curious why it is not the case anymore. Isn't it suppose to be the same throughout SAF?

  All we're saying is, sometimes they're efficient, and sometimes they're not.

  That's just the way it is in the SAF.

  You already got your answer from the hotline. Just be patient.

  Is that our saf advance technology? Take 10 days to process?
