Hi can anyone give me what to expect for the above two courses that techs usually get?
Also, which is a more safer course, like less chance of getting charged, accidence and/or working hours or duties.
Thanks!
With reference to the courses that B Veh techs can get sent for, like recovery/driver.
B veh techs repair vehicles and they do not go for driver courses
we already have a vocation for drivers so why should they be involved?

Whether technicians stay in/out, it's totally depending unit's policy, some unit insist everyone stay in, some only insist that one the combat one stay in.....
Im hoping the next poster might answer my question.... ...
But with regards to the above queries:
B techs do get sent for driver courses, they just dont become vocational drivers. Drive skills are usually limited to technician-related services such as moving vehicles round the repair workshop, test-driving repaired vehicles etc. So driving skills are essential...
Techs also do get stay-ins and stay outs at times, its really dependent on what period a unit is in and its policies.
It depends on your section. A section of 10 men should consist of driver, recovery and all those basic modular trained nsf. In my opinion, correct me if i'm wrong, i think a driver will best cause recovery have to do duty on weekends at times. All the tech driver i have seen drives around the workshop only. And i seen too many recovery trained nsf going for overseas exercise and involved in NDP.
