Sign On: Can Jump Ship from SPF to SAF?

Isit possible for a transfer of service from SPF to SAF? I mean regular not NS. I had completed my NS as a rifleman few years back and signed on with SPF. I realise i really miss army life and was wondering if there is any scheme to transfer back maybe to military police or maybe even combat units?
I noe for SCDF / SPF / prison transfer they retain current rank but since SAF and SPF different ministry , dont think they can offer me a different rank despite me serving still right?

I know a friend of mine used to be sergeant in SAF, went to sign on in SCDF and become an officer then. Rank should be recognised but you probably had to go through all the courses again. As for combat unit, there is an age limit for physical capabilities. If your age is near to the limit, it is unlikely you will be able to contribute much.
Usually, most ppl would prefer to jump from SAF to SPF, not the other way round. I was told SPF carry revolver and route-march in orchard rd, while the army route-march, majority knows what we need to carry.
