I'll be going for ns next year. I've been reading a lot of articles regarding ns and I'm quite interested about vocations like commandos, ndu, etc and positions like an officer or a sargeant. I'm a Singapore PR and I just wanted to know whether I would be eligible for any of these vocations or positions. Any experiences or information regarding ns will also be deeply appreciated.
ya eligible, but need to be garang/wayang, cheat, lie, backstab to become officer.
NS= 2 year resort, nothing else

I have heard of commando PR, and yes, there are quite a few PR officers as well in various different units. As for PR specs, there are plentiful of them.
However, from what I heard, sensitive vocations such as those where you will be exposed to certain military information and knowledge will not be open to you. No worries though, if you are aiming for commando and such.

mostly those who are pes a are selected to go for commando interview, and they see if you are willing to suffer.
