New NS Unit: 6 ISTAR of 6 Division

  The latest issue of Army News came with a special feature on 6 Div. Among the sub-units of 6 Div listed was this unit.

  Anyone know what's up with this new unit?

  The mindef website not updated yet, only lists 1 SIR, 4 SIR, 2 SIB, 9 SIB, 6 DIVARTY, 6 DISCOM, 54 SAB, 6 Div Engineers, 6 Signal Bn.   This unit will definitely have more than one function. Wondering if it will command the BRC, or  if it operates the small UAVs and in future UGVs.
