I am about to enlist in a few weeks time and I have just developed a serious ear infection that's been going on for 3 months already. Untill now still haven't cure. My doctor gave me a letter but she's just a GP, not specialist. Should I submit the letter to cmpb? I read the forums and it seems that a specialist letter is needed for medical review. So is the GP letter useless? Or will they give me a review since they can just check the ear?
You worried too much, just submit the letter and let them decide what to do with it. Speculating on future events are just what it is : speculation. The only thing to fear is fear itself.

You will need a specialist letter for stuffs such as up-pes/down-pes, mental health medical condition, non-visible health problems....etc.
If you have a badly infected ear, the MO will definitely be able to see it himself, and I am sure he will know what to do next. In such a case, the GP's letter will definitely be taken into consideration. This is most unlikely to cause your PES to change though, in case you are interested.
Thanks for your help. I still have another question. Since the letter cannot downgrade pes or anything, is it even necessary to submit it then? And should i give it now or wait till the day of enlistment? Thanks again.

Thanks for the reply. In that case, do I submit it now or when I enlist in feb?
