Hi, i was downgraded from PES A to PES B2 (L2) a week ago due to a recently diagnosed heart condition (Mitral Valve Prolapse). I understand that there is a difference between the PES B2 BMT and PES A/B1 BMT. What is the training in PES B2 BMT like? I checked the mindef website but the details there are minimal. My reason for asking this question is to aid me in my ns fitness preparation.
Regards

PES B2 BMT
(Enlistees who were PES C1 previously underwent a 7-week BMT programme.)
The new 9-week PES B2 BMT programme will be conducted for recruits who are medically fit for deployment in selected combat and combat support vocations, such as signal operators, combat medics and naval system operators. These recruits will be given a new medical classification of PES B2, in place of the existing PES C1 classification. This is to ensure that the medical classification of our soldiers is consistent with their deployment. The new 9-week programme will include customised physical training, as well as basic combat training to prepare them for their combat and combat support roles.

My answer is dont prepared. Run and faint on the spot. They will then downgrade you to Pes E straight.
MOE like to fail the students and give them the lowest possible grade. SAF likes to test his men, and give them the highest possible grade. No wonder we turn psycho when we enlist.
I don't want to downgrade to PES E, the reason being that given my heart condition, i'm expected to lead a healthy lifestyle (moderate exercise is important to keep my heart condition in check). If i'm downgraded to PES E, knowing myself, i wouldn't be motivated to keep fit. I just want to know exactly how training will be for PES B2 L2.
