Okay, this is the scenario.
A poly graduate who didn't do very well ( retained ) is planning to continue his studies but he doesn't have the money and his family's financial status is really very bad. Other than getting a part time job while continuing his studies after he ORD , he's considering whether he should sign on. Since signing would give good money, he can save up and then further his studies and after that complete his contract bond with the army. From there on, pursue his dreams.
Is it advisable to sign on? I mean I've heard alot about people who sign on and had a hard time getting out, can't pursue their second career, and all the blackmail and stuff...
I really need good advices and opinions, it'll be deeply appreciated...
If you need the money, I guess why not. Army would give u a better starting pay than what you're qualified for in the pte sector at the moment.
Another high paying job besides the army is seafaring. Singapore apparently is short on people who would want to sail, and it might be something you can consider.

just consider what u really like best iyo.. and consider the prospects available. and though combat jobs pay very well, the next step can be very hard thereafter
is there such thing as some low income scheme or something in NS?
