Hi, what to do with the old SAF uniform? Do I have to return it to somewhere? Or can I just junk it into the dustbin?
according to the slip that come with the new uniforms:
1. Return bins will be available at the designated new uniform collection points.
2. You can also return your old uniforms and all other Personal Equipment at any e-marts outlet.

Can I just return some but not all items?. I just want to return helmet, SBO. field pack, boots and No 4 uniforms.
Will they ask about the rest of the other stuff like PT kits and running shoes? I don't have much left regarding those.

They will not even ask abt the rest of the item...even the helmet u did not return also like that becos they'll assume lost etc...
The thing is
"NSmen who have reached their statutory age i.e. 50 years old for officers and 40 years old for Warrant Officers & below and do not require their PE items anymore, MAY return their PE at the following designated collection points"
That means I can junk the no 4. into the dustbin. Because "MAY" means not compulsory.
For the helmet and SBO, may be emart blah. it might be stuck in the rubbish chute. After all, it has already expired.

Of cos u can throw it into the dustbin, but just remember to remove your name tag just in case.

It'll be much easier to track down, then no name right? Furthermore if they want, they check take down the uniform batch from there much easier to track. So why take the chance? I mean it's up to u? If something happened don't said I should had done this and that.

If so burning It is a better choice.
Look at these few topics I found in STOMP, that's the reason why I adviced all of you guys out there if you wanna dump your old uniform, dumped it properly.
