Hi, when doing NS, will you learn any self-defense/combat? If yes, which stage of NS do they teach it? Is it part of the BMT? Please tell me all you know about combat in NS and in SAF.

Yes, it is part of BMT.
You will learn close combat using both rifle and barehand.
It is also possible to be posted to be an instructor (and thus you will receive further training) after your BMT.
You learn BCCT in BMT, then after you are posted to a unit, you learn ICCT, then in your 2nd year, you learn ACCT. As for commanders, you do not really learn ICCT and ACCT.
Usually in bmt time where you learn those basic combat training. Not to worry, not asking you to train to kill someone.
Yeah, in BMT they teach you to use a bayonet mounted on an M-16. In unit, you get a sar 21 without a bayonet holder.
In combat units, you might get some training in unarmed combat, but you'll feel its a joke. And if your unit gets to do guard duty at changi airport, you get a supplementary lesson to that.
The PES E and C enlistees sure miss alot of things.
Only PES A and B learn this.
BCCT is super cock.. I know NDU learns hapkido
last time MP got learn TKD, dunno about now.
