Hey guys was wondering, i heard alot of ppl failing when they declared of childhood asthma at aeromedical, for my case, the doctor asked me a few question and declared that i didnt have to go for MCT ( test for asthma), and gave my pes status an A, will i still fail cause of the childhood asthma thing?
yes, of course it's an offence for failure to declare any known illnesses you got.
let's see,
if you suay suay kena any medical problems later which is due to/ partially linked to asthma (where an investigation panel has established it as a pre-existing medical condition), you will take almost full responsiblility of the injuries and no monetary compensation will be void and null...
see how serious...
You should declare everything truthfully.
Okay, i dont know who changed the title of the thread, but the thing is, i declared, and i heard people fail aeromedical cause of childhood asthma, i mean, the doctor cleared me and gave me a pes status A, and i didn't have to do any tests for asthma, does it mean i'm cleared? Also it's pretty ridiculous, if my childhood asthma was that big of a deal, i wouldn't be in ndu now?
Doctor clear u means no problem.
die...
i never declare when i fill in the form..
but it is because the last know incident is 10 yrs ago already.... : (
even forgotten about it..
and this 1 month before enlistment it came back and i started to have weezing in mine chest and chest pain when i run mine 2.4 ..i am back to using inhaler ....
how now , enlistment day go in then declre?? with doctor letter??
or jus bo chup???
sorry but this is going a lil off topic, the primary focus here is aeromedical for pilots, hope you guys can help me clear my doubts:)
If you are fit to fly now, past history shouldn't matter that much. But if you had asthma attack just last year, you could probably try...
well i've beenreading up a bitit seems like those who had childhood asthma got rejected straight
