Light Sticks Expiry: Will They Work? Should I Try Testing?

  I've got a couple of light sticks from the SAF, but unfortunately they are all expired. Does anybody knows if these light sticks still work after its expiry date?

  Note that all these chemical lights have a limited storage life. Expiration dates are marked on their packaging. Their performance goes quickly downhill after passing the expiration date.

  why not you test liao then come here to tell us the experimental result since you have the expired light sticks?

  Why dont u try eating combat ration that have expired?

  They don't expire, they're just not as good, but usually an expiry date is just mandatory for packaging, and import purposes. I have 2 whole boxes of those, the old US made ones, and the current cheap china made ones.

  If you ask me, their performances degrade in under 4 hours upon cracking.
