hopefully some bros can give me advise
I injured my back during NS, saw specalist and have letter and everything but the thing is SAF MO die die wont help me; best they do is give me PES C9L2 (which isnt much of an improvement from my original PES C2L2)
my biggest problem is that my vocation is armour technician, which due to my back pain i cannot do. Luckily during my NS time I talk to my officer and he gave me an admin role bu the biggest problem is that my vocation never change.
Fast foward to now and I find out my reservist unit is some crazy combatant camp and I have to chiong suah with them. Even the PES C9L9 who by right excuse outfield also have to go.
Is there anything I can do to get out of this? I already call SAF hotline many times but as always they dont bother one

You need to talk to MO again in your current camp, by right L9 not suppose to be deployed front line.
the C9L9 guy isnt me, but it still proves a point
The ICT MO cant be trusted: I tried talking him the 1st time round i was in ICT, but his only response was: "Oh you breathless and coughing? Go route march la, the fresh air will do you good"
And I thought reservists are given more respect.
Well that's what recruits think before they get to units, and what soldiers think before they ORD...
Try to go higher up the chain of command till you get someone who will listen to your case. It will help to get a specialist memo too.
Armour tech is a lobo vocation. You just need to "repair" the vehicles. You dont need to road march, no need to carry rifles and field pack.. not a rileman.
How can you have back injury for so long!? I dont see your problem at all.
If the person is a Pes C9L9, it is up to him to point out to ns.sg. And up to his CO to decide his deployablitiy. In his case, if he is the repairmen, he still can go outfield but stay at HQbase. He can drive to scene when the vehicles is out or he can stay at HQ and repair the vehicles.
