Hi guys, My first post here.
I was born with a short tougue meaning that my pronunciation of some words is not too accurate. I already received my medical check up letters,
1)do I have to tell them about my short tougue during the check up???
2) Will my short tougue affect my PES grading??
3) Any one with the same problem as me feel free to share with me ur experience.
Thanks alot!!!!
wun post u to comms dept.
hehe.
i thought this was a post to make fun of the other 'longest tongue' thread.
Would be a good idea to tell them. Oterwise u might get into a tricky situation if u don;t let them know.

the only real disadvantage in life that I can think of ..... is that the ladies in your life might not be too happy about your cunnilingus skills ......
so, how do you think your short tongue would affect 2) ? ....
I'm not sure how this would affect your physical abilities in any way, with the possible exception of your not being posted to the Signals formation. And even that is just a mere possibility.
Seriously, is your condition medically certified? Did you see a maxillofacial specialist or an ENT specialist or something?
will give you a PES C
Hi, Nope, I did not see any specialist before. Only see before polyclinc doctor to ask them to write a memo during my O'level Oral examination. Thanks
@single_alone: I will get a Pes C for that??? What supporting document do I have to present to them?? U or ur fren experience it before?? Thanks so much for the help

might not let you be a pilot.
This seems an ambiguous condtion. Decide based on your ambitions/aspirations.
If really PES B for that, then still not so bad.....still eligible for many posts.

I dont know how severe is your case. A short tongue, just means speech disorder. If you can make sound but cannot say words, you are still considered dumb. You can get a membership from Singapore association for Deaf or Disabled People's Assocation and get discount for disabled people. And... you might get Pes F for that.
You are excused English Oral Examination. This means that you are only certified to read and write but not speak at O level standard. Sign language!?
You dont even need to see a specialist for your problem. You can go to polyclinic to get a letter for your problem. This letter can allow you to get membership in dpa. If you are lazy, the letter for O level oral exam will do for CMPB.
In summary, having a short tongue means you are dumb. It is considered as a disability. And you only have one tongue. If you use sign language and have the dpa membership card, confirmed pes F.
Hi lokey, My case is defintely not that serious to be a member for Singapore association for Deaf or Disabled People's Assocation.
My problem is with pronociation of some word for eg, word that start with letter S, but still able to talk normally to people. And I did take my O level Oral Examination, the memo was to show that I had pronociation problem and that I would not be mark down cause of that.
Thank so much for your help. Will pass the letter to them during my medical check up and see how it goes from there.

Wondering if you will be unable to warn of danger or get medical help in event of emergency. It's a dangerous thing in the army, get a PES F.
You must have lots of explaining to those you meet, cos of the first letter in "short tongue"
