Debate: Enact Law to Enlist Girls for NS (Non-Military)?

girls entering NS where got drained the country resources?
in fact the government will be paying them peanuts every month for the job they have to doing such as clerical work in army, navy, airforce. girls also can do MP, RP, QM jobs in the army too. same for police and civil defence and fire brigade too. those who are trained in nursing, can do their NS in hospitals right. how much is a nurse salary every month, compare to a NSF doing the same job? its cost savings for the government isnt it.

Medic and cook house personnel can be done by female NSF. I don't see why not.

This is a feasible idea. Include females and shorten the NS period. This can be quite productive.

BUTas part of the election strategy, the govt won't dare to adopt even though they know the social advantages.....
they cannot afford to lose more votes due to such unpopular policies affecting women...

Singapore enacted law on NS for men because there was a collectively karmic acts to be so in that period of time. To enact a law to impose NS for female may contribute to long term problem for the nation. I think many men felt it so right for compulsory NS.....but for men, there is no choice due to showing off their machoness ....and they love to conquer one another.....ummm...for career aspect to have financial stability, for female is lovely...but it may transform you into macho instead of love if not manage nicely.....:D

Nursing is not some 3 graded skills which you can just trained up. The idea of combat medic is really just a paramedic
Paramedic L1 - <- this is where ur army platoon medic is
Paramedic L2 - <- this is where the army senior medic is
Paramedic L3 - <- this is when you called an ambulance in Singapore, the qualified medic is.
O, N Level <- Nursing assistant.(not a nurse)
ITE <-- Licensed Practical Nurses (LPN)
Diploma <-- Registered Nurses (junior nurse)
Bachelor, Master, PhD <-- Surgical nurses/scrub nurses, Specialised nurses, Practical/Vocational Nurses, Advanced Practice Registered Nurses, Clinical Registered Nurse Anesthetists (CRNA), Clinical Nurse Specialists (CNS), Nurse Practitioners (NP).
It is impossible to promote ladies to serve NS as nurses.

where to get enough appropriate female instructors ?
bunks and shower rooms/toilets for so many female recruits
counsellors to 'treat them emotionally'
injury problems, etc -
I would suggest ladies to go for NS training, based on what they do for a living or based on their interest.
Deskbound office job: Clerk or personal assistant for CO. secretary during meetings
Service related job: Serve food at cookhouse and unit's mess. messgirl?
Engineering related job: Technical support for engineering in air force, navy and in army.
Those who likes to cook: Chef assistant for NTUC foodfare chefs.
Those who likes to workout: FS or FS assistant, or even Close Combat instructors.
Those who likes books: So many doctrines related job at Mindef or Tradoc.
Those who likes to write: SAF journalist, our NS monthly article will be more vibrant.
Those who can lead: Of course, they can go to leadership training schools. At the end of the day, they can be in manpower branch or logistic branch. they can go chiong sua unit and lead ladies platoon as well. or even a full ladies battalion. hell lots of G.I Jane!
Those who think they are fat: of course, go through BMT training specially catered for these ladies. Motto: no slim, no POP. furthermore, they will be paid to be slim. why not? better than those slimming centres. you pay to be slim.
Doctors and nurses: needless to say.
There are many more to be named. Let your imagination goes wild. There is alot of things a lady can do. Of course, they might not be able to have physical strength like a man. However, their mental strength can be trained to be alot stronger than a commando or even SOF. If a lady can go through 24hrs of pain in the labour room, POW training. should be a breeze. My assumptions may be wrong. haha.
It is how a person can be moulded and shaped. Just like every man in Singapore.

Whoever post this idea for asking the ladies to do NS, I will point the RPG and blast him into pieces.
We wasted enough tax payers' money to fund the whole conceptual idea of national defence. Is Singapore lacking of NSmen? NO. If ladies is going to NS, who is going to pay for cost.
Nowadays, the younger generations can contribute more to Singapore by making more babies, and enter the workforce earlier.
SOLVE THE ISSUES THAT SINGAPORE AND SINGAPOREANS ARE FACING AND STOP CREATING MORE ISSUES.

ummm...good question......but the answer is no.....2 hard years of mandatory civil service for women would suffice to contribute to the nation.....
the objective is to churn out better and caring women than breeding one who needs help even opening a food or drink can ...less to say cooking and doing housework....use less mouths directing their maids and put more actions to build up the genuine woman in them
