Hi I am posted to 3 guards and is currently undergoing GAIT ( Guards advanced infantry training). I what if i fail to pass the required trainings, (12km fast march, heli-rapelling,2km swim, IPPT sliver) what would happen to me?
OCC? then reposted out?
Or still continue the training with my other friends who are able to obtain the Guards tab?

You will stay in every weekend till you pass all the requirements. LOL. Unless you faint every time.
Almost every1 who get in will pass out, unless you have injured yourself or medically unwell.
so no chance of getting reposted out?
report sick

The officer needs an official reason in order to repost some1. He cannot just write "he dont like this guy (full stop)"
Usually reposting is done when the person has downgraded officially and the current vocation cannot fit into his pes status. Another reason is, there is critical demand in manpower somewhere else. The manpower is being robbed from infantry troops.
It is rare that people can fail the whatever course, unless it is theory exam.
If you wanna stay (for the heli rapelling etc) or get out of Guards (for a slacker vocation) now is the time to decide.
Failing GCC does not guarantee your posting out but does raise the chance. Once you pass, nothing short of medical downgrade will change your vocation.

I got a friend who was from 3Guards. He was post out after BMT to be a medic. Then he went to RSAF after the course.
Guess they will treat you like any other BMT pass out and post you anywhere.
Hey guys, does anyone know at what times during the year will there be a Guards intake? Does it vary each year or are there fixed times per year? I hear that last batch finished their GAIT about a week ago. How about GCC? i'm POPing in two weeks, hoping to go to OCS and become an infantry officer. Will it be possible for me to go to GCC next year in late January or early February?

It's not only whether GCC is running but whether they will need Gds officers.
well the next batch of SCTs are already training together with us. They will most likely become our specs once they pass their Pro Term.
There will be a GCC for them afterwards
