Hi all,i went for my checkup at april last year,was given pes D due to blood cholesterol and hypertension(High Blood Pressure),failed 2 lipids and NUH lipids too,after reviewing my case,Mo ask me whether i wanted to try for Pes BP,he said the high blood pressure might be due to obesity so i tried lor,now i am currently in my 10th week of my BMT and have lost 17kg,but my recent hospital appointment,the doctor gave me 3 referral letters to show my MO because he says both my blood pressure and cholesterol hasnt improved and he is very worried abt it and the last letter for my hamstring injury(small case anyway,just hurts when i try to sit and stand). I am very worried as i am finishing my BMT in 9 weeks time am now is afraid to know whether i would be Down PES and have to re-do BMT.

Currently in pes bp bmt
one option is to not push yourself too hard to the limit due to your blood pressure and just complete your BMT. after passing out of BMT and block leave, as you are posted to a new camp/unit for on course, then you submit all the memos to the MO at the new camp's medical centre.

agreed...the medical centre in tekong island is too packed.
if you have a genuine medical condition, voice it out. During the next 9 weeks, remember to look for cues from your own body and voice them out if you're feeling unwell.
thanks for the suggestions =),although i do feel dizzy all the time but i still keep pushing myself,i never felled out from training at all because i want to lose weight,just that my parents are worried about my condition,and the doctor insists that i sound it out,so i am just worried i might get OOT/OOC atm

it will certainly help the conditions when you lose weight overall, but please don't push yourself over your threshold till you faint or what...
do everything in moderation, don't overdo.
might be able to get pes C or even E if you want to downpes.
I would advise you to downpes, as it is quite obvious that you are over-exerting yourself, feeling dizzy all the time.
Don't end up as another casualty of NS, dying in peacetime. It is honourable to die for your country in the battlefield, and not so to give up your life in the service of your country, while doing IPPT.
my brother said the exact same thing as you,i guess i should take care of myself and not let my family worry...i guess i would finish my bmt first then go for review during my block leave and i heard the down pes process is very long..
