NS: Can NSFs Cycle/ Ride Bicycle to/ fro Camp/ MRT/ Home?

  Just wondering, is it possible for NS men in uniform to ride a bicycle? My house is about 1.4km from the train station, so i am thinking of riding to the train station. There are no bus services to the train station, sadly...

  I used to do it everyday in NS but it depends on whether your OC is clever or stupid. My camp had a lot of big units inside but their personnel don't care about other units. So my OC had the say.

  Use a lousy bike or it might get stolen at the train station.

  If it's only between your house and the MRT, then why not?

  That said, please practise good road safety and lock your bike in an intelligent manner (i.e. chain your front wheel and frame together).

  The mountain bikes at giant or carrefour are the cheapest bikes you can get. About $70.

  My place here got a guy who cycle to camp, but I think he always in PT kit.
