NDU VA: Don't Like. Don't Go = Get Charged for AWOL Offence?

Hi, i've got selected for NDU VA, isit possible that i took a MC and skip it? cause im really not interested in going in.

I don't know man.
1. NDU has never been a voluntary affair. If you have the brains and body, they will take you regardless of your attitude and beat you into a naval diver.
2. You can throw MC, they may want you to show your MC there and then reschedule VA for another day. What then?
3. They punish you for bad attitudes but don't listen to those who say a single MC will beget you punishment. And I heard it's hard to flunk out after enlistment into NDU.
Therefore, best show you don't have the body by being downgraded out of the way. Old SAF saying that no body is perfect and it's up to you to find the problems through specialists. No specialist memo, no downgrade. Sure, after enlistment, an SAF MO may hear your credible complaint and refer you to a specialist for free but that process takes months.

I was thinking that i could get an MC. And like push back the VA because my Exams are on 15 aug and i have lessons during weekdays

From what I know, there is a limited time window for NDU's medical / vocational assessment.
But getting called up for the VA does not necessarily mean that you'll definitely be enlisted to the NDU. Chances are high though. You can also express your lack of interest / motivation but I think it doesn't really have the desired effect.

Yeah right. They will simply reschedule just like all SAF assessments. Get out while you can cos CDO and NDU always takes the people it calls. I wonder how, maybe the schools quietly let them now.
