Hi, i am currently a recruit going to POP soon, i still have a spare pair of boots which is new and have not used but ever since after i change my both boots (currently using & the new one) to size 11 (previous they give me Size 12) i still find it abit loose here and there when i am wearing my current boots. So i am wondering if i can return the other boots or can i sell it to someone else?
Also, my no. 4 uniforms are currently getting abit too loose for me also as i have slimed down abit, so i am thinking of getting it away and buy new ones, can someone enlighten me please?
SAF give you 2 combat boots for a reason...
For example,
1st one for daily wear/ combat exercises, 2nd one for parade/ spare if 1st one wet...etc.
Uniforms have velcros/ buttons to adjust for minor body size changes.
Yes i understand but the most of us have not even touch our 2nd boots. we just keep reusing the 1 boots until spoil dirty? just wash and kiwi OR just cover the kiwi over the dust. and use. So now my point is that this boot size still alittle too big for me despite changed alr during my enlistment so i am thinking of giving the other spare boots away and buy new size.
As for my uniform, is the size matter, my velcro adjust for smart 4 is okay but the sleeve keeps getting super loose and tends to fall away from the smart 4 shape so i am thinking i have really slim down alot and i want to change the size of the shirts.
It is more cost-effective/ cheaper for the uniforms to be altered at eMart or by your neighbourhood tailor/ tailoress.
Can i return my uniforms to the emart?
No, but it is cheaper when you just let eMart or your neighbourhood tailor/ tailoress alter the uniforms.
eMart told me NSmen may return their NS personal equipment to be disposed off by them free-of-charge.
And also, how about the spare 2nd combat boots?
Can I just sell/ give away/ donate?

Personal Equipment
All NSmen are issued a set of
personal equipment (PE).
This gives the NSmen more confidence,
convenience and potential for greater operational readiness. It also
enables them to care for their personal equipment, thus ensuring better
personal hygiene and better maintained equipment. Concurrently, NS
administration is reduced, as the NSmen do not need to return such items
after their training.
Return and dispose off are for NSmen (reservists) who have completed their NS In-Camp Training (ICT) cycle.
NSmen who have reached their
statutory age (50 years old for officers and 40 years old for
Warrant Officers & below) who do not require their PE items anymore,
may return their PE at the following designated collection points:
1) Army Logistics Base (ALB)
601 Choa Chu Kang Rd
Singapore 699817
Tel: 6389 6380 / 6389 6381
2) Any SAF eMarts outlets
A long time ago, I was given 2 pairs of boots. My first pair became cracked and leaky, but I wore it every day because I was posted to a non-combat unit and it does not affect me. So, friend, find out what unit you are posted to.
Eventually, some garang soldier bought my boots and bought some shoes with my emart credits.

Just leave the sleeves. In future you may become more muscular, or become fatter as reservist.
last my 2 boots, second boots was seldom use, as we call it our parade boots. I was meant to be clean and well polish.
when in unit, parade was frequent and parade boots starts to be use frequently.
