Service Injury: SAF $ Compensation for Permanent Disability

I received an official NS letter in my letterbox that my in-service injury sustained 5 years ago was approved.

Last week, I went for a PD Assessment Medical Board at MMI.
Board Chairman assessed that my total permanent disability to be 23%, and PES downgraded to C9L2 as well.

I was told that the monetary compensation formula will be calculated based on my rank and NS allowance at that time point of injury.

Then I heard some say the monetary compensation formula is similar and in accordance to Manpower Ministry's Work Injury Compensation Act.

So which is which?
