Hi, I spoke to a customer service officer on NS hotline at 1800-3676767, but I still confused. I already ORD. A reservist NSman.
This is my story. Before NS at CMPB, doctor found out I had an enlarged heart so I was medically graded as PES C. I requested for PES B so I could get 2 months discount off NS due to I got NAPFA Silver/ Gold to enjoy this physical fitness cut exclusively to combat-fit PES A and B personnel only.
Then in NS in Tekong BMT, I OOC for a knee injury. I dropped to PES C. But undetermined and without due care for my health/ safety, I managed again to convince to upgrade PES B, only after signed an indemnity form to waive/ exempt SAF from all injuries/ compensation/ whatsoever and even death to complete BMT. My BMT POP Posting Order was SISPEC to be trained as a sergeant signaller.
However, in my last 2 months of NSF about to ORD, I suay suay gotten a ruptured/ slipped spinal disc. MO told me for administrative paperwork reason, it was better to stay as a PES B before ORD. MO would downgraded me after I ORD.
After ORD, I was posted to a NS reservist armour unit. I was in a SAB during NSF as a rebro detachment commander/ combat signal sergeant. Thereafter, I gotten a Exit Permit to defer ORNS ICT to go to the USA for further study overseas.
Now, I am back, so I called NS hotline at 1800-3676767 to inform them I have returned, and found out that I was somehow downgraded to PES C for my safety and health without my knowledge/ informing me after ORD. No postal mail, no email from CMPB.
Can CMPB do this without informing me in view of my health and safety sake?
My previous NS reservist unit was a combat SAR unit, but now CMPB posted me to a Reserve Holding List (RHL) which is awaiting for posting to a NS unit. So as of now, I am temporarily not required to do reservist in-camp training (ICT)/ have not begin my 10-Year ICT cycle.
How?
Holding list is just that. You're not in any unit and do not have to do any reservist activities. You are however, still liable to be called up for medical reviews or be posted to a unit at the discretion of MINDEF.

Facilitate your transition from being an NSF to an
Operational Ready
NSman Reservist.
It comprises useful information on:
* Your roles, responsibilities and benefits as an Nsman
* Key administrative and transitional services you need to know and
use as an Nsman
For NSF, you are COMPULSORY to
complete this package by:
* Reading all the information in all the modules
* Taking the quiz at the end of each module
* Completing the survey at the end of all the modules
once you disrupt, you are automatically posted to holding unit. Once you back, they will see where need manpower and they will post you accordingly...
alternatively, as I was from a mono-intake unit... we wanted to rejoin the unit, we write in to CO and holding unit to request to rejoin back unit.
If CO agreed, high chance able to, but since you might have missed a few ICT.. when the unit ROD, you will serve that few with other unit or with division to make up your missed ICT.
Thats the thing though as a Pes C, im not "medically fit" for my previous vocation. Btw i love the editing done on my post hahahah. It wasnt to be "gung ho" btw, it was really to just save on the 2 months as i was a singaporean living overseas who never lived here before so 2 years 4 months in the army sounded better than 2 years 6 months(yes im an old timer) lol
I have a pes C return to RTU as a artillery gunner... I have a pes C that take full IPPT as he wants to take monetary
