ORD: PES C2L9 Do What in ICT Reservist? Revocation? How?

  Hi, I was PES A. I just got downgraded to C2L9 now.
  I was in a combat vocation in my ICTs, so will there be a revocation?
  Who do I speak to for this revocation matter? Chief Clerk/ S1 Manpower Officer?

  Need some advices. Thank you.

  The annual IPPT is applicable to all PES A, B and C1 NSmen below the age of 45 years for Officers and 40 years for WOSPECs. The NSman's IPPT annual requirement commences on his birthday immediately after his NSF Operational Ready Date (ORD) and ends on his NS Run Out Date (ROD) or MINDEF Reserve Date (MR), whichever is earlier, or on being medically downgraded to PES C2 and below.

  What are the IPPT exemptions?
  You are exempted from your annual IPPT if you fit into the following conditions:

  All IPPT-liable NSmen will only be exempted on the following conditions.

  1. Permanently downgraded to PES C2 and below.
     
  2. Have continuous medical exemption (from IPPT) for a period of 4 months or more during the first 9 months of the IPPT Birthday Window.
  3. Have accumulated medical exemption (from IPPT) for a period of 7 months or more during the first 9 months of the IPPT Birthday Window.
  4. NSmen who are disrupted from ORNS duties.
     

  *The onus is on the NSmen to inform their NS units and present their medical documentation as evidence, when called back to answer to the IPPT related charges. Alternatively, they can request for a medical review by a SAF Medical Officer though his NS unit.

  By default, there is a deployment status attached to the vocation. Therefore the unit is supposed to post you out automatically when you have downgraded. Sometimes, that vocation may allow up to Pes E. In this case, you will remain in the unit. In case, your unit "forget" to post you out to the "correct" unit. You can inquire at [email protected]. Wait and see loh.
