Hi, I am a corporal from SCS but I OOC (out of course) during my aslc which is armor recce specialist trainee. I am about to ORD and I have not gone through the armour recce course. Even though I am a corporal, the army database states my vocation as armour recce specialist trainee. I am still pes A. In this case, during my reservist, what will be doing? I cannot possibly be an armour recce corporal right? Since I never even go thru the course. So in this case, what is the likely outcome? Need some advice! :/
most likely general infantry man aka rifleman because u are pes A.they call u become recce specialist when they got no other reccee specialist.

Within 6 months after your ORD, you will be notified of your deployment and NS unit. Your deployment will be based on considerations of your educational qualifications, medical fitness and the operational and manpower requirements of the SAF.
During the first 6 months after you completed full-time NS, you may be called up for NS activities not more than 4 hours.
Thereafter, every NS work year, you may be called up to a maximum of 40 days of Operationally Ready National Service (ORNS).
Or in the case where you are called up for more than 40 days in one work
year, you are required to seek agreement with your employer for this
extended service. Both you and your employer will then have to sign an
undertaking to indicate acceptance of the arrangement.
Please call the 24/7 NS hotline at 1800-3676767 to ask a customer service officer.
