its for pes e people...
but dunno what they do there -
if it is for the pes e ppl, they dun do much. the course i jus 1 wk or 3 wks i think. they go thru NE and other lecture-based learning.Originally posted by blackblack85:its for pes e people...

On the day of enlistment, why do some people report to Pasir Ris to go to tekong, while others report to CMPB instead??
is it the same, as in does everyone end up in the same place eventually?

not sure which batch of ppl will report to cmpb instead. perhaps those who haf been downgraded? -

Physical Employment Status (PES)
PES A - Fit for all vocations
PES B - Fit for most vocations
PES BP - Fit for 5 months full BMT (applicable only to obese recruits)
PES C - Fit for some vocations
C1 - Require to take IPPT but excused up to 2 static stations
C2 - Do not have to take IPPT but Regulars need to take the Alternative Aerobic Fitness Test (AAFT)
C9 - Not required to take IPPT for all
L1 - Fit for field duties
L2 - Fit for field duties but only in rear areas
L3 - Fit for base duties only
PES D - Temporary unfit for grading and pending further review
PES E - Fit for Administrative duties only;
E1 - Able to participate in simple activities
E9 - Unfit for any form of physical activities
L9 - Suitable for sedentary duties at bases;
PES F - Medically unfit for any form of service. -
under what medical circumstances will an enlistee be classed as pes e?

I am enlisted into the army on 11th june, but i am only graduating on end of may, very blurr of what to do...
Can anyone kindly give me advise...
Like what to do, prepare and how to make me army life better.
I am also thinking of signing on, but cannot decide...

Can wear specs that can reflect light hor? Or must die die also those plastic frame ones?

wat u mean reflect light? i wore a metal framed spectacles last time and it was ok. of course it wasnt bright and shiny and reflective. they may make u tacticalise ur specs if they are so reflective.Originally posted by 01024G:Can wear specs that can reflect light hor? hopefully they dun kena log pt n changing parade when they r in Bmt.some of u might react by telling me these r banned,yes they r banned in tekong but not mono intake. -
I hate changing parades. Been through it a hell lot of time during my NPCC days and I always feel that it is a very stupid to do, as well as asking cadets to do. I saw it somewhere last time that changing parades/duck walk are ban and i am very happy to hear that. I think it should apply to everywhere in the Army, whether mono or not. Of cos the worse thing is to expect those serg./officer secretly tell you to do that.

If it really happen you can write in to CMPB or even complain to Mindef.... The problem will immediately be refered to the provost and investigation will be undertaken.... Dun worry..... like wat most will remember is that there is a slogan that says care for soldiers... :>

with the recent limelight on the saf, safety has become the paramount concern of commanders. even the trg cirriculum has been changed to take this into account. hence think we can be quite sure breaches wont occur so easily nowadays. no one will wanna put his head on the chopping board jus so to tekan a few men. -
Actually what is the use of changing parade? Other than change faster and waste time, i find no meaning in doing that. And only make more people fall out.
