as much as i'd like to forget about this part of my life, i'm still willing to contribute here.
honestly i didn't/don't hate the army, nor do i like it. i'm as neutral as u can get!
the pride of being a cdo dies off, we all get over it one lar. last time young, think we are big f***, now seng kee liow, still think we are big f***s but not as much muahahahahahha

Or, we called it our mobile food canteen. We usually stuff canned food, soft drinks etc in our vehicle while on mission besides the usual S.O.P items. -

I remember once in Lancer, went out for 3-4 days mission, i only bring water and the most important of all things...CIGARETTE!!!! -

A BG told us before soldiers will die on battlefield BUT not bcoz of bullets wounds or explosive
but its bcoz of no CIGARETTE -

why u wan to sign on? for money? for interest? pride?
do u think u will be happi doing wat u will be doing? like chiong sua? like going for exercises for days without sleep, having to face mosquitoes, and still being expected to think and to chiong?
wud u like the disciplined and regimental lifestyle? r u one who will die being kept in camp for days? do u treasure ur freedom more than anything else? do u mind burning wkends, public holidays and nites?
why guards? y not inf? y not commando?
actualli if u wan to go in for the short term for the money to subsidise ur studies later, i think no need to think too much. since ns is already 2 yrs, a few more wont make much diff.
but if u intend to go long term, den u shud think carefully. remember - army work experience is usually not recognised outside, unless u go very high up.
haf u enlisted? guess bmt will give u a taste of military life and allow u to make a more informed decision.
