Yes......the time u spend in OCS..is very worthwhile....dont think too much....frens in training will make each and everyday bearableOriginally posted by bingqi_bu:juz one qns. wld u recomand one to go ocs? i think its like entering hell if u go there...
Flunk means u failed? Then u'll be disrupting after BMT to redo your 'A's right?Originally posted by Littlemouse:I flunk my A levels, does it mean my chances to go OCS is gone?
5-10% from each poly BMT batch, 15-20% from each A-Level BMT batch.Originally posted by [w][e][i]:Normally argar argar hw many people from one platoon in bmt get to go into ocs har??
april 8 one is a level batch?i dip holder going then follow the a-level bmt percentage?Originally posted by cornyfish2000:5-10% from each poly BMT batch, 15-20% from each A-Level BMT batch.
Yes, april 8 enlistees should be an A-level BMT batch, so u'll be competing with the A-level recruits for the vacancies in the BEG wings in OCS.. Good luck!Originally posted by Rockhound:april 8 one is a level batch?i dip holder going then follow the a-level bmt percentage?
and what did you base the "one wing 120" on?Originally posted by CKtalon:Based on one wing having about 120 intake..
DFST : 480+ (JC)
BEG: 360 (JC)
AST: 360 (Poly)
CH: 250 (Poly)
So not really about how many percent?
Well, it works out to around that percentage, considering that the total no. of poly students entering BMT each year is approx double the total no. of A-level recruits each year. So if u take that into account, and the relative sizes of the OCS intakes above, it does work out to the ratio of poly:A-level => 1:2. (as in the percentage of each batch going OCS)Originally posted by CKtalon:Based on one wing having about 120 intake..

Each wing had 3 platoons..and at the start..each platoon had about 40 people?Originally posted by wuming78:and what did you base the "one wing 120" on?
So it finally started.... then how long we will be in sispec before going ocs if we are selected har???Originally posted by Littlemouse:btw, OCS intake changed from my batch 11th March onwards. OC jus told us that there is NO more direct intake to OCS, all will go to Sispec den get selected from sispec.
PS:today my 1st bookout day =p
Oh they can always assess the scholars in SISPEC instead.. like how they assess the potential SAFOS who are cdo trainees in Hendon currently.Originally posted by CKtalon:However I have this feeling that the DFST intake every year will be direct OCS..coz of the scholars..
