The SAF Counselling Centre (SCC) was first set up in 1977 to provide drug abuse treatment and rehabilitation services for servicemen with a drug abuse problem. Since 1982, its services have expanded to include providing a general counselling service for all servicemen and women with problems as well as other personal enhancement programmes.
SCC's mission is to enhance the psycho-social well-being of MINDEF and SAF personnel by providing a range of preventive, rehabilitative and developmental services, thereby contributing to Singapore's defence capability.

Runs a 24-hour SAF Counselling Hotline Service for SAF servicemen and women and their families.

Provides individual, couple and group counselling services for SAF personnel for a wide range of concerns.

Runs rehabilitation programmes for self-confessed drug/inhalant abusers and servicemen under detention or supervision orders for drug/inhalant abuse.

Recruits, trains, and supports volunteers who are SAF Paracounsellors.

Provides counselling courses and other people-centred self-development programmes for SAF personnel
