What You Miss About Tekong..

For Me, its the serenity of the place..
the route to Permatang..the south beach.. my bunk
sigh.. its only been 1 day and i can't believe i am saying this but i actually miss my bmt life.. seeing my fellow platoon mates and company best shedding tears, it made me wonder whether i will still remember them or not

every damned day, it was wake up at 5:15am... before any other company..off to breakfast.. draw arms.. get ready to move out... see other companies waking up...
then train train train until some god-forsaken hour... come back send in weapons and you see all the other companies switching off their lights for the night...
shower and go to bed.. at around half-past 12.. for 3 bloody months... no breaks for anything... while seeing half your company decimated by chickenpox after 1 week... which causes all things that are "treats" to be curtailed..
what do you think??

actually my time very much better, cos got quite a few "whitehorses", some Ministers' and General's son in the same camp, so life is better, food is better.

For me, going tekong means outfield except for a couple imt. The nightsky at permatang, the view is great when i lie down at the heli pad. Fireflies and glittering stars, sounds gay?

been there to train before so the thing I miss is the bright MOONLIGHT!

tekong was indeed a nice place, minus the mosquitoes. i like the serenity n quietness, stars, fireflies, eating maggie mee under the stars in the dark....always campfire when go there for ICT, even maggie mee taste very delicious there

I miss the hot spring in Tekong ! So nice and clear the water there...

The day when i left on the RPL and my sgt say....take a last look !!!!!! That is really the time i say to myself " Finally, got out from that hell. ALIVE!!!"
