BMT recourse

under what circumstances will recruits get a bmt recourse?
pes upgrade?
fail bmt?
recourse?
failed ippt?
can feed me with info?
how long is recourse batch?
is it usually really f***** up with attitute problem people go to this recourse?
does that mean that u only have to take the lessons and trainings that u miss in ur previous bmt?
eg: never go fieldcamp due to illness, kena bmt recourse, no need to take range, grenade, ippt etc? just prepare go for fieldcamp?
failed ippt, no need go range,soc etc etc, just prepare for ippt?
pes upgrade from pes c, e. no need go range, fieldcamp just take soc, sit test etc?
after bmt recourse will be transfered to new units? hopefully sispec or ocs?
got pop or poc? is it tougher than enhance,ptp bmt?
how long will one have to wait? i see lcp,cp, sgt marching like recriuts too leh... -

recourse duration same as normal lor. and u haf to go thru everything once again.
after recourse, everything else same lor - can go sispec, ocs, etc.

POC is Passing Out Ceremony...
its a smaller version of POP...just a simple ceremony....for pes c and e... -

and no, u dun wear ur rank during bmt. u will be called a recruit still - regardless of ur rank. in any case, if u dun pass ur bmt, u wont be promoted to pte, unless u mean u got downgraded, promoted to pte, den go bmt recourse. -

but last time, if they haf enuff recourse pple, they'll form a recourse company with a 7wk course. Oso, the trainees were allowed to keep their rank. but if u go there as a cpl, then u'll most likely get lots of arrows... oh, & no need for 2 weeks confinement.

Foxtrot now is a recourse batch...coz they ord soon haha
there's lcp,cpl and 3sgt

actually so far i noticed that recourse is really for those extreme cases, for example, you fail your ippt very badly as in you only pass 1 or 2 stations.
never heard of people recourse because of range, sit test or whatever. anyway you can hardly fail your range what. but it really depends on the companies and the OCs. you dont even need to recourse if you fail your SOC.
and yes if you recourse with a rank you are allowed to wear that rank, at least thats what i see nowadays in BMTC.
regarding when you will get recourse if you fail your bmt depends on the time of the year. if there is an intake straight after your batch pop, you will most probably go for immediate recourse. if not, most prob u will do sai kang in your company and wait for the next bmt to start and then go there for recourse.
also, as to whether you go thru the same training or not depends on the OC and PC. during my time the recoursees in my batch were excused for some activities because they completed them during their previous bmt. again it depends on whether the OC garang a not loh. -
last time, they not so efficient... dun recourse immediately in the next available batch one...
got pple get posted to other units liao, then go back recourse... usualli onli a few mths before they ord... for some of them, they pop from bmtc, then ord liao... they even more 'lao jiao' than their instructors... -
during my time got pple join in half way one...they hv went thru or almost complete the BMT but did take the test due to injuries (like sprain ankle) or chicken pox etc...
nornally for them quite relax, cos they hv went thru everything or even more in their unit... -
You need to pass your ippt. You must pass it either when you are in your bmt or when you are posted to a permanent unit. If you still can't pass your ippt in your unit, you may be recalled for bmt even after 2 years of service

i just passed out from BMT too...
am i crazy, tht everyones thinking of how to chao keng and slack in NS... but i want to experience combat leh...
i am not really physically fit... but still able to perform lah...
in my new unit, if i go MO, they most prob can give me a PES upgrade...
but most people will think like that is "siao" leh... even my PC sorta discourage me...
haai...i dunno leh... whens the next recourse batch? in which company? how long is this recourse batch period? -

Siao on..... very siao on, we need ppl like you to share the task of feeding mosquitoes. Not one not two not three not four not five not six not seven........... i'm refering to months. haf u tot abt the possibility of further injuring urself? who's going to take the responsibility, the MO or urself?
even if u can get thru combat BMT, u still haf to qualify for OCS and get thru OCS, so ur ambitions of becoming an officer is a long hard journey.... think carefully...
