cannot say all officers not good lah. There are a lot of good ones too. Maybe you just suay meet lousy ones loh. Cannot expect everyone steady one rite? Anyway, to all the haven't go NS ppl, when you are outfield, most of the time you eat your hard tacs and drink water. Even if give fresh rations ah, you also no mood to eat when you are sitting in your shellscape. hahahaha... coz' you scared ants will come sleep with you. -

anyway, heated combat ration? lucky u! i dont recall eating any heated combat ration during outfield! heated? maybe milo / maggie noodles! but hor.. satay pasta cook with maggie is excellent!
oh ya..... saying of when u get hungry.... anything also can go into ur mouth.. try eating some gross food for ard 2 days.. i wonder if u still can eat it on the 3rd day. even the much tastier combat ration i ever had.. i find it unbearable on the 4rd day. -

Haven't you noticed that lotsa instructors in BMT/SISPEC/OCS are also "A" level grads?Perhaps you've met the lousy few black sheep..My Plt Sgt was from NJC and a scholar too, he could screw the hell out of some Poly ppl who also 'chao keng'..When you have served long enough, such ppl are not exclusive to any one educational qualification.

Till today i still think all the MREs are yucky except for the glutinous rice and satay pasta. But make sure they're heated up 1st.

when u r outfield for daes, heated or not, everything tastes the same.
when u r outfield for daes, wat goes into ur stomach is one of ur last worries. -
I think so far i only eat abit of pasta(heated) and most of the time glutinous rice whether it's heated or not. But it's a freaking long time since i was issued one. And now it's dessert only. Hard tacks and mamee is the way to go. I survived 2 days on them.
