Do people who have gone through LASIK* surgery be downgraded or treated as they have perfect eyesight?
Can they still join cdo or ndu?

yes they can join CDO n NDU...even SOF...
some RSAF pilots do go for LASIK..heard its even sponsor by RSAF.. -

When i orded sometime back, the SAF just came out with this programme which sort of subsidizes its regulars who go for lasik esp those in combat vocations.

well i guess becoz of the nature of their jobscope... its a hassle to be wearing glasses... thats why they would be the first to be sponsored to go for lansik surgery...

But i never heard the SAF will go to the extend of providing lasik surgery in search for more cdo or ndu..i thought they have just enough of them...

becos the selection is so tough tat even commandos can fail..
if they just look mainly into their battalion...they are not goin to get anyone..
i dunno much abt the tests itself..but one of them is making u run carrying sandbags n jellycan fill with water..n ask u to run..there is a timing n distance..but they wont tell u..
abt everyround u pass they will add sandbags or jellycan on u...
think its FBO with weapon.. -

Depends on which doc u consult, experience. But cheapest is about 3900. Correct me if i'm wrong.
