  Nah, as far as I know it's no different from the other No 4 wings.

  Thank you for all your work, what can I say.
  
  Quick info update on the wings I specified:
  
  2. Fatigue uniform wear,
  4. The pretty one for ceremonial/parade uniforms
  6. A long shot, awarded in the 60's(man) to foreign students
  mainly Thai but also some others.
  
  But the big Question is can I get them anywhere.
  Yes I do need them for photos but the quality has
  got to be 200% and a mate of mine used to
  be an Army Photographer so he is going to do them for
  me.
  
  Melbourne, Friend of mine from University got a job there
  a few years ago doing systems/marketing work
  for a co. called Polk.

  Ah, OK Alex:
  
  2: Since the time I entered Commandos (1990), a white wing on a green background has not been in use. It is only a black or blue wing on an olive green or camouflage background.
  
  4: This is the No 1 uniform wing that lion and I mentioned in previous posts.
  
  6: I have never heard of this wing. I have never encountered any airborne trainees from other countries, and as far as I know, only Brunei sends soldiers to Parachute Training Wing for training. When we jump overseas, we are awarded that country's standard basic wing, and I assume that vice versa applies. I still have a few friends who are PJIs, and I'll ask them about this.
  
  Have you tried faxing the 'A' Team store to see if they deliver overseas? I'll be dropping by on the boys at Hendon some time soon, and there's another store in Changi Village that sells these items as well - I'll see if they can be contacted via Internet.
  
  Polk? You're not talking about speakers, are you?

  Must have been a Commando with all the
  running around you are doing on my behalf.
  I was British Army.
  
  It would be good if you found out if they do
  internet at the stores you mentioned. And
  yes sending a fax is on my at the moment
  long list of things to do.
  
  The company is RL Polk, they specialise
  in car dealership location modelling and
  some other clever marketing stuff for Ford
  mainly.
  
  Yes you would be most welcome to read
  it when complete. 2000 sets of para wings,
  details of training required to be awarded
  each set and brief details of the troops
  who wear them. A project that came out
  me trying to find some information on a set
  of wings only to discover that the last book
  was published twenty years ago. Since then
  the political and military map of the world has
  changed with lots of new wings. So there we
  go ....... it keeps me off the streets.
  
  By the way, which site and where on it did
  you get the pix of the wings?
