May i know if we're in PEs C1 L3 in Tekong Bmtc Sch 2 Will we be suffering like those in Pes A OR B? Will we be relaxed in there ????

Wad was in @ my time was that PES C Modified BMT was 7 weeks..here are some of the features
- I wun say identical but the idea of BMT is still there
- You get to do things like go for range
- route marches (ehz, 5 & 10KM only)
- Usual loh..everyday wake up early early eat breakfast draw arms
- Oh, Passing Out Ceremony instead of Passing Out Parade (= no parents coming over), its conducted after the 10KM route march just as the POP is after the 24KM
- Field Camp? Yes, sleep Basha? Ehz, depends... On what medical excuses the MO gave u during grading... If excused outfield then okie loh... Can go back bunk to sleep..
- Should you feel that you condition (Please think about it carefully) is not that serious and insist on staying combat, then the form here would be the "APPLICATION FOR SERVICE-FIT VOLUNTEER SCHEME" whereby you can volunteer for combat training and stand to qualify for SISPEC/OCS together with the others
- Most prob. you'll end up Service or Technical vocationas after BMT, ranging from Technicans, ASAs etc etc...
- Remember that the fact that you're not PES A/B doesn't mean you cannot serve you country well.. All of us have a part to play in this

C1 u still need to pass IPPT too...
You will be need to pass IPPT, IFC and Range (if not exempted)
As for IPPT standards, i'm not sure too how if you are "Excused Upper/Lower Limb" but they will only ask u to take station u're fit for...No sure cos I take the full test
For the structure of the MBMT Coy, normally Plt 1 & 2 are the PES C1s while Plt 3 & 4 onwards are C2 onwards...
Something that rather puzzles me, but since the PES C2/C9 people have more serious medical problems(e.g. Excused Upper/Lower Limp, RMJ) than their C1 counterparts, why are they still given the top/higher levels of bunks?(Plt 1 on Level 2, Plt 2 on Level 3 etc etc..) The other EBMT coys do this I noe but do they still do it for MBMT coys now? Hmmm... -

In BMT there is a difference btw the Pes A/B n Pes C treatment. Pes C less shiong n depending on ur excuse. But when u post to ur unit, all different pes status r the same. Tat means u do about the same things as ur pes A / B frenz, and of cos ur vocation n the excuse u have n aso depending on ur oc. If ur oc nice, den u heng of ur oc den fuck up, den good luck to u.Anyway, 2 1/2 yrs may seems long but its aso rather short when u look back at it. Jus tolerate n bear with it.

Tat means u do about the same things as ur pes A / B frenz, and of cos ur vocation n the excuse u have n aso depending on ur oc. If ur oc nice, den u heng of ur oc den fuck up, den good luck to u.Anyway, 2 1/2 yrs may seems long but its aso rather short when u look back at it. Jus tolerate n bear with it.

Fit for operational duties at bases means that you will fight only in base. You will never be at the frontline which means you will only take out your 'wife' when your base is under attack. This means that you will most likely get vocations like Clerks, Technicians (alot of them), storemen and CQ. I see C1L1 people in 'chong sua' units. It is likely you going to be a tech and get a 3sg rank.
I am also C1L3. I'm now a tech. I did not pass my IPPT during my BMT because of the lack of training. I did went for field camp and grenade throwing but was excused range. It is super relax but still depends on your coy.
Don't worry about not being able to bath, I used to worry 2 and during my first PC interview, I chao kay to my PC that I have skin problem. But they will want your official letter so if you dun haf, you cant but powder bath was fun and it's only 4 days 3 nights for us. In army, you are likely to get pimples even without wearing the 'green thing' becoz of its food (really spicy and hot). And you will not look gd with that botak head. Hahaha.... -
