I got the letter liao. Going to khatib camp for Ptp and Bmt on 23/6/04.

23SA eh...Problematic unit , especially in certain aresa which I will not divluge.But,overrall, the camaraderie is kind good.

the first thing u go in. collect your kit have your haircut and then go for bty offr interview. pretty much just zoom through the process like a blur cock.
the thing u wouldnt wanna do is to offend hei shan lao ye. you will know who the hell it is when u get in. just be polite.
CO is a nice guy. scholar i think. the BC are errmmm.... u discover it yourself la i dont really know them. the s3 just change also so dont know too much about it. the rq i heard is quite nice. dunno who is the s1/s4.
most ppl i know in there are from last mono. the thing u dont wanna do is keng in bmt and kena posted to s1 dept as clerk. good luck to u if u try.
ptp just do running and exercise. nothing much la. once in a while u slack then kena punished. beside HQSA with the 'god' around. no monkey business will go on.
canteen near hqsa side has very good chicken chop and cutlet. the uncle selling drinks is very nice too. back gate near khatib mrt so very convenient.
after ptp then bmt lor. then trade course. the trade course is the one that most guys find very xiong. cos outfield almost everyday. but after a while u get used to it.
the bunks are 8 men bunks with king coil bed. the toilet also renovated. much better then offr bunk and toilet. sigh what is the world coming to.
also got internet access in the battalion. limited only to spec and offr though. cos last time they (man) abuse it by surfing porn. dont know what is the new co stand on it now.
most recruits will have some probs with their bty mate. some of them are those kind that wanna fight and ask for trouble, think they very garang type. but in actual fact all kennasai one. watever u do dont fight. sure db 10 days one. very sad to see ppl even before pop go db.
probably see u in june. if u know your which bty u posted to even better. enjoy. -

yes u can bring ur hp. unless u wanna use the public phone which i think is spoiled. of course it also depends on ur bc see whether they allow or not. usually no problem. unless ur bmt pc like mine. psychotic who doesnt allow hp. and no snacks for me last time. but somehow we always smuggle in food and hp. even surprise spot check also some didnt get caught. although i sway got caught.
yes mr seng is the co. he is the boss.
and no i am not from 40/41 faocc.
aiyah everywhere u go u new bird sure kenna bully. 1st post in sure lots of weekend duty to do. somehow all the weekend will bao one. then all kinda weird things to clear u have to clear. investigation, proposal, this event that event. surely its u tio one. and tio until jialat jialat. for recruit no need worry too much cos no duty to do. only after pass out then the unit will have many many guard duty for u to do. do until u blur. plus then ppl will be very gracious in handing out extras so that u can do ur national service standing at the gate and prowling the entire camp. great way to spend ur weekends. life is so damn good. for u at least. -

wah ryangian before u enlist u thinking about ord and disrupting for study. wah lau u champion man.
saw the other thread.
anyway as long as u serve more then i think 1 year plus u can apply for disruption. but its best to just do till the end. very sian to appear again when the people all change and ur reservist bn changes. not nice at all. best to do till the end. friends for the whole damn cycle. -

Do you know that in 2006, they are going to change the intake for polys ite to april, which mean to say that i cannot make it for the earliest intake. ORD liao also stay out and lam nua
If they still have a jan intake than i still it is still ok loh, still can serve extra 6 month than go back to the books

Yoz.. Just some advices for people going to 23 SA... Try to bring in tailsman, amulets of your religions... Just in case you will need it... That place is not very "clean"... Must be careful of the No Man's Land... Avoid it at all cost when the night falls... & also not forgetting the "fenced-up tree" behind HQSA Block... >> Dun mess with it!!!
