  You going kaoshiung or taipei? If its taipei, then its taipei city. Somewhat like singapore night life lah, passable.

  How's the Hard Rock Taipei, last time it was empty and the stuff KNN, serve Japanese tourist, S'pore troops have to queue up to buy Tshirt .

  Well.... It's definitely a good place to buy sports shoes and genuine Nike Apparels as they are made there... As for the food... desserts are damned good and must try their fried chickens and all their hawker food... Also not forgetting Xi Men Ting...
  
  Depending on your S1.. The hotel that I got during my RnR are quite sleazy... & not forgetting the Cai Hong Channel....
  
  Enjoy your trip there.... It is definitely one of the best RnR that you can have in SAF!!!

  meiling camp is in Touliu City, Yunlin County, Central Taiwan.
  
  I was there more than 10 years ago. Dunno how much it has changed since then. Yunlin County was hit by the massive earthquake on 21 Sep 1999.
