i haf witnessed extreme cases: one person who was a zero fighter in the beginning and remained one after PTP and BMT, another person who was a zero fighter at the start of BMT, and managed 9 at the end of it.Originally posted by BMEngineer:Thats my worry also....what if I cannot pass the fitness test after BMT.....however is it really possible to fail after 5 months (Plus Ptp) of rigorous training....Any one here has heard of 'live' example before?
Personal experience to share. I was a zero fighter when i went in. Then i decided to buy a dumbell and even brought it over to tekong to train using it when its lights off.Originally posted by ryangian:I am a zero figther and i like to know what will happened if after5 months of Bmt still cannot clear 6 times?
but o cos the person will haf to noe how to use the dumbbells to train those muscles, and o cos wich muscles to train to improve chin ups.Originally posted by cooleo:Personal experience to share. Within 2 weeks, i could do 6-8 pull ups. The benefit of using dumbell to train is that it helps u to target those muscle areas that are needed to do pull-up (under grasp), unlike push-ups which are good for building chest, not so much the arms.

nothing beats doing the real thing - get on the bar and train on it. even assisted chin ups or flex arm hangs help too.
yes indeed. and if all of u can help each other and train together its more motivating and makes trg more bearable too, and in my opinion, there is a higher chance to succeed.Originally posted by NathanG5:n u need your section mate help..help each others..
