Can asthma get Pes C?

  I going for the medical checkup soon and I have asthma but it is not the exercise induced kind-in fact I passed my NAFA test.I heard some people got asthma and they categorized as Pes C,yet also got others with asthma get Pes B and go become rifleman.
  
  Is the classification of Pes Status more stringent nowadays coz so many people try to downgrade?

  well..i think for his case...its easier to decide..
  most Asthmatic guys i know...are mostly pes b..
  if he is lucky..he might meet those M.O who give u choice..

  I think only Exercise-Induced Asthmatic personnel will be downgraded to PES C (L2)... The medics will most probably tell you to run on a threadmill for 10mins afterwhich they will do a breathe analysing test on you to ascertain the status. Inhaler will be provided in case the personnel really needs it.
  
  But all these are in the past and i am not too sure if they are still valid.

  hm.. childhood asthma definitely no no. and yes, they are more stringent with downgrading now - i guess. anyway u may get pes c and become a cbt medic, etc.
  
  no need worry too much. jus go for the med checkup and c how.

  Guys not all asthmatic get down graded!! Like that we will have an army of PesCs!
  
  There are criteria for downgrading. Sorry classified.... But there are those with more serious asthma who get downgraded to Pes C
  
  Medic asking you to run on a treadmill for 10mins???? Sounds dodgy to me.

  I've got pals who have asthma and got PES A~B who are in combat vocations as well and they got thru NS just fine coz they ORDed with me.
