thank you very much for your advice. I have visited my GP and have my blood taken for testing and result will be out only coming weekend. My pain has reduced much after taking the medicine (it is a pain killer and muscle relaxor), however, there is some slight pain (feel warm on the area near the toe) while standing and driving for some time. If my pain has gone away, does it mean that i have recovered from gout? If mecidine can make gout become painless, then just wondering, how gout can be downgradable.
It is only my 2nd day of medicine, i will see how it goes. And I need to thank you again, EAC.

Well, I would get you cough and then I'll do an abdominal exam. But there are several different types of hernia. The SAF- relevant ones will probably appear during strenuous exercise or abdominal straining.Originally posted by wonderamazement:How do you find out if you have a hernia?

dun think soOriginally posted by green_saccades:hi,
do you know if it is the cranial or nephrogenic type of DI (diabetes insipidus)?
Maybe the distinction is just academic anyway. . . This will rate a PES E.Originally posted by noahnoah:dun think so
drinking up to 20 litres of water a dayOriginally posted by green_saccades:Maybe the distinction is just academic anyway. . . This will rate a PES E.
From the medical point-of-view, treatment is different, but both types make the patient lose lots of water via urine. Definitely not field-deployable.
since i started to stay in bunk...the encezma starts to spread...hav to scratch every night...thus keeping me from sleeping....currently c1l3....Originally posted by green_saccades:hi thongboy,
are there any specific triggers you can identify in your Unit/ camp environment? I doubt very much if you'd be allowed to stay out unless you can pin the blame on Something definite
btw - have you been downgraded for this yet?
really ah, but wat if i dun declare during the medical check-up? i will be punished rite?Originally posted by eac:highly pes b only.
declared asthma whether it is chronic/childhood pple will be blue coloured tagged by wristband during pt/outfield/route march exercises.
Are you sure the diagnosis is correct? If it is, you should be receiving medical treatment now.Originally posted by noahnoah:drinking up to 20 litres of water a day
and every half an hour feel so thirsty
Absolutely. Furthermore, if you're already on treatment, someone (your endocrinologist) really needs to re-evaluate the dosage(s). At this rate you may end up PES F!Originally posted by oxford mushroom:Are you sure the diagnosis is correct? If it is, you should be receiving medical treatment now.

Thank you for your professional advice. I appreciate it very much.
After checking the web for food to avoid, i am quite shocked! Strickly speaking, almost half of the eatable food are "dangerous" to gout. All seafood, all meat, all bean type, califlower, spinach, all mushroom, gravy etc. Almost everything cannot eat. Confused. I wonder if i go back ICT, can i tell the MO I cannot eat half of the cook house food.
I think i am going to lose much energy and "life" without meat and serveral veg. That is horrible to think of. The first 2 days of my medication do very effective, i can walk normally again. However, i start to feel the pain in my feet again on the 3rd day onwards. And i find walking difficult, feeling something inside my feet and the annoying pain on evey steps. It is not sharp pain this time, but feel like pain in the bone, crushing on the ground. Never know that walking can be difficult, dreadful to know i have to live with gout, maybe forever. I see that my father is suffering from Gout for years.
thank you very much and i hope my GP or the polyclinic doctor can quickly wite me a memo to defer my ICT next month. The polycinic doctor did ask if i am still doing my ns obligation but did not offer to tell me more or write me any letter to defer. Hopefully, my blood test will help this time.
best regards to all who ofifer help.
Should bring this up to your camp MO. And also consider burning your bedsheets (Originally posted by Thongboy:since i started to stay in bunk...the encezma starts to spread...hav to scratch every night...thus keeping me from sleeping....currently c1l3....
Not yet completed the testOriginally posted by oxford mushroom:Are you sure the diagnosis is correct? If it is, you should be receiving medical treatment now.
Yup-they'll be taking blood & urine samples to see if your serum and urine are appropriately concentrated. It's quite tiring and you'll feel thirsty + +Originally posted by noahnoah:Not yet completed the test
