Please hold your brake, if you are not recalled back for ICT, then please jolly well continue with your civilian life. You may be just another forgotten soldier. Who knows? By the time they remember you, you are past 40, statutory release from any NS obligations.

U hv high chance. But u must ask the spec to write a memo for u. Specifically mentioned u have this prob. Very important.
One more thing, DON go for MRI. Just use your X-ray for downgrade..else u may regret...only when u need surgery, then go for MRI
Why dun go for MRI? What's there to regret??

U want to take MRI it's up to u. Just my own suggestion. No need to follow.
Hello Guys,
Can anyone share with me what is the meaning of Medical holding list? I was told that i do not need to attend ICT but what about mob manning, etc from my unit ?
My unit is currently discussing with NSPC to post me out and told me i am in Medical holding list. I asked the person who called me but he is not able to explain clearly what it means to be in medical holding list. Thank you.

Reserve Holding List (RHL)
Thanks, Eac!
Does that mean I don have to attend any unit callup? Coz i have received a mob manning for july09. I asked the clerk but he's not able to answer me...
The medical board didint downgrade me but they say sent me to orthopaedic board.

I'm not sure about that.
Call the NSHRC and speak to the DXOs directly, not the clerks.

A medical board, just that it's specifically for orthopaedic cases.
It's being held just like a typical medical board meet.
Hi everyone,
I am a reservist who was downgraded during enlistment time due to pes planus.
I wore those shoes /sores specially designed for flat footers, but my ankle still experience pain while walking.
Recently I can feel pain at my knee, can this be due to my flat feet?
What implications can flat feet lead to?
Thanks

Hi, not sure if this is the right forum to ask this question.
Im scheduled for a medical check up for the post of senior police officer next week, however, what worries me is that I have abit of eczema on my right arm, the patch is about 5cm in height and less than 5cm in width. I got this in the starting of this year and it sometimes still feels itchy. May I know if this will hinder the chance of me getting into the force? And is this considered to be in serious condition? Thanks and sorry if I posted in the wrong forum.

Hi ,I'm currently a NSF, recently some sands got caught into my eye during training and had some cornea abrasion .
The eye specalist have written a memo for camp MO to consider to repost me into a cleaner enviornment as i have a cornea scarring in my eye ( inflicted from previous eye injuries ) which in worst case , my vision could be affecred .
The MO checked his PES bible and found nothing such as cornea scarring inside the directive However he only adviced me to wear google whenver i'm in a sandy enviornment which i think it's not suggestive and sound from a medical officer
Any advice ?

Hi all,
I currently have a gastronology apptment scheduled in july. Illness is GERD. I had this diagnosed when i went to A&E in SGH with chest discomfort and breathing difficulty.
Was given 1week of Omeprazole. Symptoms were lifted significantly. Wasnt given memo. i discharged after seeing the general practitioner and given medicine.
After around 1 week of finishing my medication, i'm experiencing same feeling as before.
What shld i do?
Btw i have a bit of wheezing now and then, shaking hands when i got accelerated heart rates but all like minor cases. So never mentioned to anyone.
