LOL ya what i meant was free for me la. SAF pay la..
My case is genuine of course. But the thing is i am afraid they think that i keng. Cos when i am at home my eyes are normal. Its really during in camp when i sleeping then the sore eyes occur due to allergy to dust there. So i dunno hw the specialist gonna check whether i really have allergies or not. And for that matter, whether he will write a memo for me.

Precisely as i waiting for the appt by MO i haven seen the specialist. sadly i do not have any recorded medical history. But since young my eyes have been allergic and naturally dry. So i frequently have to put eye drops just to keep it moist.
Ya i know its nt a strong case thats why i am worrying. Cannot be ask me to everyday sore eyes and put the antibiotic eye drops ma. Its very harmful to eyes in a long run... And it is affecting my sleep in camp too. So I think overall i have a strong reason to downgrade. But whether they give it to me or not its another story....

Originally posted by marcteng:Usually the eyedrop that is effective is steriod and can be prescribed by eye specialist.
Steroid? What is that? What does it do? The MO just said that continue using the eyedrops he gave. then he said will help me refer to specialist but never tell me when. SUpposedly they will call the company when appt is fixed. But i dunno when they will call also. Its been a week.
Its unlikely for downgrade if the problem is just caused by dust. At most is give you excuse stayin and everyday you will bookout after work and bookin next morning like what 1 of my friends got in the past but his case was allergy to dust causing asthma.

whats AFV operator and bronco?
In simple english, hes just a tank driver
You can try getting an excuse dust and be revocated but unlikely to be down PES

i am in charge of driving and maintaining the Bronco. Bronco is like some nickname for the AFV vehicle i am driving. AFV stands for armoured fighting vehicle. Oh ok i will check with my company when i book in. Steroids solve the root of the problem? Or do i still have to put it frequently? No point keep getting sore eyes and putting eye drops. its harmful to my eyes in a long run.
To dkcx: The reason why i thought can downgrade is because my CSM told me that i may be revocated to be storeman if problem persists so i thought there is possibility of downgrading

Revocation does not mean sure down PES and down PES does not sure means revocation. All these depends on your medical condition and your vocation.

Excuse does can still allow you go to most vocations even infantry i believe. Only vocations you will not get might be storeman, technician, armour, artillary

They will just randomly say cos its not for him to decide anyway. Its up to what the medical board say you cannot do then CPC to revocate you to whatever formation that lacks manpower
