just wondering whether there are any differences in pes a & b in terms of bmt n vocational posting
also is it true that more than 85% of pes b ppl tio combat vocations?
thanks for answering my queries

PES A & B personel are considered combat fit. They in fact should all be posted to combat type vocations. In reality they do not always because some perform poorly in BMT.
The difference between the 2 is that there are certain courses which are limited to PES A personel ONLY. Examples include the commando and diver courses. OCS, SISPEC are ok for PES B.

Very minor difference, maybe say super mild asthma. I've been in a combat unit and mostly the people I've met are PES B but they cheong alongside PES A. PES B are equally healthy and fit to do almost all things, just that they got a little problem here and there that doesn't warrant a threat.

so in general pes a & b doesn't make differences right? maybe they should merge pes a & b to avoid confusion
thanks for your info

it does. as mentioned above, some vocations and courses require pes a personnel.
so u can say tt all pes a ppl r pes b, (can go to most combat vocations), but not all pes b ppl r pes a (can go to ALL combat vocations)
