o cos they dont conduct fire drills every now and den.Originally posted by pkchukiss:For me, PTP was one of the most slackest time I ever had in my 5-6 months so far in the army. Your schedule will go something like this:
0530 Reville
0545 The 5 BX (Power PT if the Duty officer is feeling siao on...)
0600 Breakfast
0630 Area Cleaning
0700 Stand-by area if your duty sergeant feels like it
0730 First lesson (ET run/circuit/gym/)
1020 Nothing essentially (labelled as "OC Disposal" or "Fatigue Duty, a.k.a. Sai Kang)
1200 Lunch
1300 See 1020
1500 ET run/circuit/gym/drills
1800 Dinner
1930 Night training (usually extra training your sergeants have in store for you)
2045/2100/2130/2200 C.R.O (Last Parade) Do whatever you want in your bunk
2230 Lights out
My record C.R.O was at 1900, but they used it to conduct a fire drill... Record latest was 2330 (but that is during BMT phase)
Having said that, your instructors usually will take advantage of the free period to conduct stand-bys upon stand-bys upon stand-bys. So, whether you get to rest depends on them...
