where is ur injury and when was it incurred? could it be a muscle tear, or something with ur ligaments or tendons - hence not the bones? did you ask the doctor then wat is causing the pain? cos pain is a signal that something is wrong with the body.Originally posted by chip and dale:hi ,
hope the pros can help me with my problem , i`ll be enlisting soon for ptp but i still carry a leg and knee injury from running . went to doctor for xrays but he say my bones all right despite me telling him it`s my muscle that hurts , he kept saying "you are ok , or u want MRI scan?"
but i stll feel pain standing , stair climbing , squatting in particular .
my question is i don`t have any proof so what i should do ? do i tell my mo during my ptp ?will i be look upon as chao kenging?
hope for a speedy reply , thanks for any help
I agree with sgboy2004.Originally posted by sgboy2004:see specialist... go private if u need to...
Same as you, I also attempts to tell the MO about my spine deformity.Originally posted by chip and dale:hi
thank you for the answers , yah i think maybe i should see a private doctor
but i`m going into ptp next week , will i get a chance to tell the MO about the condition?

i dont think all of u should worry too much if u haf a genuine medical condition. the MO is putting his professional career on the line if he chooses to ignore a specialist letter without rhyme or reason. should anything happen to u he can kiss his career and all the years spent in med school goodbye.Originally posted by ah-soh:Same as you, I also attempts to tell the MO about my spine deformity.
However, I worries that the MOs in Tekong will be like their counterparts in CMPB -- They will ignore it even though there are specialist's letter and X Rays to prove that you can't do certain things.![]()
hmm....... it seems like those cmpb mo r putting their professional career on the lineOriginally posted by wuming78:i dont think all of u should worry too much if u haf a genuine medical condition. the MO is putting his professional career on the line if he chooses to ignore a specialist letter without rhyme or reason. should anything happen to u he can kiss his career and all the years spent in med school goodbye.
i wont jump to any conclusions without knowing the full story. anyway its their careers at stake - on a day to day basis. they should noe wat to do and wat not to do.Originally posted by chikopek:hmm....... it seems like those cmpb mo r putting their professional career on the line![]()
But to be frank, I was pissed off by the CMPB MO during the day I requested for medical review...Originally posted by wuming78:i wont jump to any conclusions without knowing the full story. anyway its their careers at stake - on a day to day basis. they should noe wat to do and wat not to do.
my knee also pain from time to time - front and side. and pop sounds are so common. and i know when my knee will pop and how to make it pop - and it feels rather good after a pop!Originally posted by saabster:Your pain.... Is it in the front of the knee or is it towards the side. You were saying something bout a pop when you move your knee cap.... Try doing it again.... do you have a gritty feeling when you do?
Any swelling of the knee when you go for a run? Have you had any previous injury to the knee before?
Try to answer the questions so I can have a more accurate idea. But from what I gather you might have CMP. Basically this is because of over use and the spacing between the kneecap and the knee is reduce leading to increased friction and therefore pain on activity.
If you indeed have such a problem, you will be temp downgrade for about 6 months after confirming with an XRay.
Cheers

yah i have a gritty feeling and the kneecap is rather tender ,.the pain is more towards the behind of the kneecap.
i didn`t have any problems before with my knee and this is the first time it`s injured ,..
