If you are a Polytechnic graduate, currently serving full-time National Service, and you are interested in signing up as a Combat or Engineering Specialist, we've got the plan for you.
What will I receive?
Successful applicants will receive a lump sum of $15,000 (Combat Vocation), $10,000
(Engineering Vocation)
What will I have to do under DIS?
Successful applicants will fulfill a 4-year bond as a Specialist.
What will I do when I join?
You can be a Combat Specialist or an Engineering Specialist.
How do I qualify?
Minimum Criteria :
Be a Singapore Citizen or a Permanent Resident.
Possess a diploma from one of the local Polytechnics (Nanyang Polytechnic, Ngee Ann Polytechnic, Republic Polytechnic, Singapore Polytechnic, Temasek Polytechnic).
Be medically fit for the respective vocations applied for.
Apply within the 1st year of your full-time National Service.
