my frens (recruits) called from tekong to told us that they r getting $500. SAF rich sia, from $220 or $240 to $350, then to $500.
but dunno y haven announce officially over the media to say that recruit pay go up liaoz lehz...
wat abt other ranks? got go up anot ah?

are they subject to CPF and tax deduction since meet the min requirement...mi no do payroll for sometimes, not sure abt it.

yesterday juz met up wif 2 of my army recruit frens...
1 from tekong n the other 1 from 41SAR
both r recruits...
the tekong 1 told me that their OC confirmed that they will still be getting $350, the $150 increase is only after they get posted to their units after BMT.
that means private get $350 + $150 +$100 (if combat unit)
but tekong they will still be getting $350 only!
then the 1 from 41SAR told me his OC told him they will start directly from $500 recruit pay cos they already in unit liaoz
my fren damn happy man...
he say is his OC confirm for them 1...
juz wait for 10th oct
