yes. likely tt u will need to come back for RT during blk leave.Originally posted by seizure_:Currently I'm in PTP to train up for my IPPT test which will start in 2 weeks time. As far as I know, in order to pass BMT, you must have a IPPT pass at least. May I know what consequences would it be if I still did not manage to pass my IPPT? Does that mean I wont be having the pass for BMT and will that lead to recourse of BMT?

blk leave is a period of a few daes when the whole cohort goes on leave together, prob after a major ex or after a certain trg cse.Originally posted by seizure_:yeah I'm currently in 5SIR Alpha Company.
jeez, i have no confidence to pass my ippt in the PTP yet... but in any case, why doesn't mono-intake get to re-course? i do understand that they might post me out if I still don't pass my PTP in BMT but under such circumstances wouldn't there be a recourse for me?
PS: Block Leave means.....?
yes thats rite.Originally posted by ah-soh:from wat i noe, u dun have to pass ippt in ptp oso can go bmt
i wouldnt call it good...wats so good for not passing ippt?Originally posted by kengkia:yeah i am one good fresh example...y would they waste time 4 u to re-take ptp rite...
How u pass BMT if u dun pass IPPT? I tot they will make u recourse?Originally posted by Ole:Yah right...., pass is not easy to get, i never managed to pass my ippt in my whole national service. Chin up easy to train, i just can't pass my 2.4km.
How obese were u? Hm...but then if u dun pass IPPT during reservist, need to do RT right?Originally posted by Ole:Not if u are obese.
full of crap..Originally posted by Gordonator:most people can't pass IPPT mainly because of chin-up, which is the hardest to train in such short period of time...
anyway, i also didin't pass IPPT during my PTP phase in tekong. still process to BMT.
just keep running..run until u can pass 2.4..its all in your mind...y give up so easily??Originally posted by Ole:Yah right...., pass is not easy to get, i never managed to pass my ippt in my whole national service. Chin up easy to train, i just can't pass my 2.4km.
Well it depends on individual's abilityOriginally posted by NathanG5:full of crap..
im a zero fighter during my ptp phase..cant run cant pull..

i dun believe in human ability...Originally posted by chikopek:Well it depends on individual's ability
Some people turned zero fighters to 6 chin ups during ptp but there are also people who tried their best but still zero fighters. Can't blame them though as everyone have the limit of their ability.![]()
3 to 4km is never enough..until now im running 5km everyday...n i ORD more then 3 years ago..Originally posted by Ole:My unit last time also want me to pass because they want to get better ippt record, they keep training me also cannot, i managed to get gold standards for all other events except for running which still failed.
run 3 to 4 km alternate days, gym on those non running days, speed training in afternoon, come back early on sunday for gym session, saturday afternoon running training or weight training.
Only effect, become stronger..... leaner but weight remain at 88kg, because gain muscle mass.... height is at 178.
Yah, now will have to go RT, think will fail all the way till the end. sigh
