as a freelance self employ, the new ippt system just dun work for us. if you fail ippt the RT make it worst.
freelance meaning you work than you get pay, more so for those like me getting day rate type. if assignment (all on last min notice) going for mths how to go for RT.(info, my day rate range from $135 to $220) this week have 8 days assignment but cannot get because of RT. total lost $1440. cannot claim at all.
you may say can defer... yaya, missed the window, you go back RT1 all over again. assignment or work dun just stop for you because you going for IPPT or RT. you dun have time to work others have.
Which is more important work or IPPT/RT. Needless to say work. downgrade is the way out liao.
For those thinking where got so easy. say downgrade will get downgrade. as long you got history back in active time, C2L9 easy easy.
really dun feel like it as i enjoy ICT very much... hazi...
whoever top brass reading this, i think it time you ppl look into this now as more and more ppl are going freelance. -

with the new new system no way.... as mention once you miss the window ie Phase 1 you miss 2, you back to RT 1, end of Phase 1 and you still fail the IPPT, you go Phase 2 and if you miss 3, same you go back Phase 2 RT1. Phase 1 have 8 RT in 1 mth and Phase 2 have 12 RT in 1 mth. Phase 2 fail than end of story.Originally posted by nemo77:guys!!!

Till you complete the full RT than you can go for the next W/Y IPPT. in another words if you fail last work year IPPT in the following work year you must complete your RT if not you take order. after order you will be ask to book RT right away. once you complete your full RT pass or fail the test, this work year is done and no more IPPT than you wait for the next to come. -
what u mean by fail? thought if u fail but maintain first ippt result, you can be discharge???
