How a NSF Commando be a 3SG/ LTA thru CDO Leader Course?

hi everyone, recently kena the vocational assignment letter from commandos.. anyway can commandos go OCS if you didnt sign on?? also, which is more prestigous cdos or OCS?
cos i aiming for scholarship but all those scholarship requirements all state that need to qualify for ocs leh.. so if i later heng heng kena cdos den what will be the status?? means if i don't sign on no ocs or what?? or is it after cdos bmt also got ppl go ocs -
Yes, you can. I have an old fren whom I knew in poly, went on to commandos and got sent to OCS.

u can o cos sign on to an officer's position.
or u can wait until u get to OCS b4 signing on. -
first u muz be selected for the section leader course. den perform well and be in the top 10% of the cohort, u will be send to ocs...

u will only be able to get into the April batch OCS if so..aka Bravo Echo Golf wings..
By then any prestigious SAF scholarships receipients would have been identified and awarded (those in Delta wing, the jan batch)..
So maybe if u go to CDO, u may not have the chance for SAFOS or SMS since u need to qualify for OCS before being eligible for them..SAFOS is under PSC..so most prob after the 1st year, it's hard for u to get it..for SMS it's highly possible though.. -

after which, be selected for cslc(cdo section leader course, usually the best 15~20%) during vt.
than, again be the best of cslc, go through CO interview, than will u be sent to ocs. -
hm..i believe it is also possible to sign on as cdo officer, meaning to go through bmt, ocs, before going for ccc.

after abt 7 to 8 yrs, he got a review (don't know how this happens...) and was upgraded to pes B, got re-vocated n post to guards as sect cmdr for his reservist, not allowed to wear his red beret again.
all his nsf company mates had completed their 6-cycle, he just start his 13 cycle as guards sect cmdr.
he had requested to post back to cdo, but was not allowed. -

my pc is a nsf officer. u can get into ocs. but u muz 1st clear bmt , go onto bct passing out with a cpl rank. if u r gd, post to leader course pass out with 3SG rank from there if u are gd den choose to go ocs lor. after u come back den contd ur stuffs in cdo.
