Questions abt PTI's ranks

hi, wanna know how PTI get their rank. lookng at this pic:
Q1) how come only so few rank for PTI? does that mean PTI can only be 3SG, SSG, 2WO, 1WO?
Q2) PTI cannot be 2SG or 1SG or MSG is it?
Q3) can sign on as PTI is it? since there's SSG, 2WO and 1WO PTI rank. -
Can, its called Fitness Instructor...
But you will be terminated if you unable to attain top 10% ranking during the PTI course... -
Most of the PTI in Tekong is 3sg.
BTW I have heard that those BCCT instructors are only privates, LCP or CPL. -

And for those guys before NS enlistment attending their NAPFA Test every wednesday at Toa Payoh Stadium, you can see there are 1 or 2 aged PTI who stand there supervising the conducting of the test... Those are at least a 2WO or 1WO PTI in rank.

Places like BMTC of other units do have 2SG, 1SG, SSG and MSG
SISPEC should have 1 MSG there and some of the NAPFA and IPPT for NSmen test center too -
YEs there are ranks for 2SG 1SG SSG and MSG for PTIs...
but unless you sign on.. it is hard to go beyond 3sg. "new" policy dun really let NSF pti go to 2sg.
And for PTIs.... promotion is slow and most of the courses that leads to promotion are foreign courses. -
Actually if you all go take non ICT IPPT, the biggest NCO fark there should be a warrant-rank PTI. He is the one who tells you a lot of stories.

Should be T/2SG during your NSF Platoon Sergeant term, then it might become S/2SG (NS) when you're a NSman.

Infantry NSF 3sg usually can go to 2sg lah.
PTI is under Infantry, but they are of different vocation.
